Prestige Rent - Terms and Conditions

Prestige Rent SNC will be known as The Company.

HIRE PRICE
We guarantee that the price will remain the same as quoted at the time of reservation as long as no alterations have been made to the itinerary after the reservation has been made. Any alterations made to the journey itinerary after the reservation has been made will be charged accordingly. In other word you will pay exactly the price stated on your confirmation voucher; NO HIDDEN COSTS OR STRANGE LAST MINUTE EXTRAS.

PRICES
All Prices are quoted in "€" Euro and are per person, unless otherwise specified. Quotations are based on the duties outlined by clients and our estimated time to leave from our base, complete the services and return to base. Extra journeys or duties requested by clients on the day, where possible, will be charged at the hourly rate. Any costs incurred on the journey such as parking costs and toll costs are included in the price of the service. Our prices do not include: meals, gratuites, or other customer expenses, unless otherwise specified.

PAYMENT
Full payment directly to the driver on completion of each single service, (cash – Euro currency). At the time of the booking, you will be asked to provide us with credit card details (kind of card, holder's name as it appears on the card, number of card, CVV code, card billing address and expiration date) as a guarantee for the services being booked. WE DO NOT CHARGE OR PUT ANY MONEY ON HOLD, ON YOUR CREDIT CARD, unless you do not incur in late cancellations/no show, as specified below.

CANCELLATIONS
No charge/penalties will be applied for cancellations made while the tour is on hold (when there is less than the minimum number of people to run the tour).
For cancellations after the tour has been confirmed (minimum number of participants to run the tour reached), or for no show, 100% of the price will be charged.
This is the only way for us to guarantee the tour to all of the people that have joined the group, even if someone decides to cancel at the last minute.
ONLY FOR CRUISERS: no penalty if the ship doesn't dock in port, due to weather or unforeseen circumstances Cancellations must be made in writing. E-mail is sufficient, but must be acknowledged by us to confirm receipt.

REFUND
All refunds will be made by bank transfer.

CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS - SHORE EXCURSIONS
If you are on a ship, and your Cruise Company decide to cancel the reserved port of call, you must advise us, as soon as possible, so we can cancel the service before the car leave the garage, and no charge will be made. If the Cruise Company decide to change the reserved port of call, you must advise us, as soon as possible, so according to your needs and our availability, we can re-schedule the service with all of the new details, including the price that may vary, due to logistic reasons. If you failed to advise us and you do not arrive we will consider and charge it as a NO SHOW.

INSURANCE
The vehicles/drivers of The Company are fully insured as requested by the Italian Law.

ROUTE
The route taken is at the driver's discretion. The driver will take the best possible route and in the event of heavy traffic congestion, he will amend the route if necessary and endeavor to deliver passengers to their destination on time. The Company does not accept responsibility for any delays or missed appointments/travel arrangements. Always allow plenty of time for your journey.

SPEED
The driver will always drive at a reasonable speed.

SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our vehicles.

ALCOHOL & FOOD
The consumption of alcohol and food is forbidden in all of our vehicles, unless pre-authorized directly by the driver.

DOGS
Dogs and cats are allowed in our vehicles but must be declared at the time of reservation and must be carried in appropriate cages. Exceptions are made for guide dogs.

CHILDREN
The Company provides child car seats if available and if requested at the time of booking. The parent/carer is responsible for the safety of the child at all times.

COMPLAINTS
If for any reason you are unhappy with an aspect of our services or a member of our staff, please call us immediately (+39 055 300 230) at the time of the incident, to give us the chance to solve the problem immediately. At the end of each service you are kindly request to fill in our feedback form; please specify there your complaint and enclose the form in the envelope that will be opened only in the office. You will also be required to put your complaint in writing and send it by e-mail to: usa@prestigerent.com detailing as much as possible the complaint. We will endeavor to rectify these matters immediately but may take further action if necessary.

COMPLIMENTS
If you are happy with our service and would like to comment, please send us an e-mail or write it on our feedback form.

DISORDERLY BEHAVIOUR
The Company reserves the right to refuse travel to any person deemed to be a nuisance or danger to the driver. In these circumstances no refund will be issued and no compensation will be paid.

ILLEGAL MATERIAL
The carrying or use of any illegal drugs or weapons in our vehicles is strictly forbidden.

RESPONSIBILITY
The Company does not accept responsibility for the following: delays due to adverse weather conditions; theft or damage of any item belonging to any of the passengers travelling in our vehicles; delays caused by road traffic accidents; other traffic conditions or acts of God; any passenger leaving possessions or items in the vehicle does so at their own risk.

VEHICLES
The Company aims to provide clients with the vehicle group booked all times. However we reserve the right to provide a similar (or superior) vehicle if such vehicles are not available.

LUGGAGE
For the Italian Law, all luggage is to be placed in the luggage compartment provided. The driver must agree to any item the client wishes to take into the vehicle with them. You must specify the amount of luggage you will be travelling with, at the time of the booking, so we can confirm the right size vehicle to avoid possible problems due to excess luggage.

DAMAGE
If any of our vehicles are damaged or soiled as a result of passengers actions, we will charge the client named on the contract fully for the amount to rectify the vehicle and for time lost whilst the vehicle was taken out of the fleet.

GRATUITIES
Gratuities are at the client's discretion and are not included in the price.

LAW
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Italy.
