When you arrive in Milan it’s a great idea to take our half day walking tour with your personal licensed tour guide for an orientation of the city before starting experience on your own. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel or will meet you at the prearranged meeting point in the city center and you'll visit some of this city’s masterpieces and get an excellent overview of Milan.
Enter the flamboyant and beautiful 14th-century Duomo, a huge gothic building of marble defended by 2,244 marble saints and nearly 100 scowling gargoyles, stop at the legendary La Scala, one of the most famous opera houses in Italy and the world. The tour continues to the Renaissance Church of Santa Maria Delle Grazie and its rectory to see Da Vinci's magnificent Last Supper if you like. After that you'll also have the chance to visit the Castello Sforzesco, a former ancient fortress and noble family palace that now houses an art gallery, including Michelangelo's last sculpture, the Rondanini Pietà, and Leonardo da Vinci's manuscript "Codex Trivulzianus."
Time permitting your guide will also show you the most famous shopping area in Italy: the Golden Triangle of Fashion where you can admire the well-known Italian designers (Armani, D&G, Fendi, Gucci, etc.). less >>
