From here you will go to the Spanish Steps, this perfect people-watching place in Rome, and then the Capitol Hill and past the Piazza del Popolo with the Flaminian Obelisk that date from 1318 – 1304 B.C.

Your excursion continues towards the Vatican City; the smallest independent state in the world, it measures about 108 acres. At the bottom of the Via della Conciliazione lies Saint Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world and the burial place of Saint Peter.

This magnificent church took over 100 years to build. You will also visit the Sistine Chapel to see the incredible works of Michelangelo, his “Last Judgment” and his “Creation of the World”.

The most famous artists of the quattrocento, such as Perugino, Botticelli, Ghirlandaio, Rossellini, Signorelli and their respective workshops, which included Pinturicchio, Piero di Cosimo and Bartolomeo della Gatta, were also commissioned to paint in the Sistine Chapel.
