Palermo, Monreale & Mondello
Today you will be embarking in one of the loveliest places in Italy – Palermo. Segesta, Erice & Marsala
For those interested in archeology, this is a fantastic shore excursion to take. Be met at your ship in the port of Palermo by our friendly English speaking driver and be taken to visit the ancient ruins at Segesta, a town that flourished up until the 5th century. Take in the fantastic views its 3rd century BC theater before continuing your tour to Erice another ancient, pretty town also famous for its fabulous pastries! Next, you will be taken to visit the city of Marsala built on the Punic city Lilibeo, and perhaps visit the Baglio Anselmi Museum to see an ancient battle ship from 200 BC. Cefalù & surroundings
